For Agencies
You design it, we build it.
We partner with design and marketing agencies to handle WordPress development, managed hosting and on-going care. Most agencies hand the project to us after design sign-off and we work directly with the client from there.
What you get
A development partner that makes you look good.
Hand off the build and the long-term care, so you can stay focused on your clients, your designs and growing your agency.
WordPress Development
Most agencies hand the project to us once the design is signed off. From there, we work directly with your client through development, launch and on-going care. White-label is also available if you prefer to keep things under your brand.
Managed Hosting
Every site we build is hosted on our infrastructure. SSL, backups, monitoring, updates and security are all handled. Your clients get reliable hosting without you having to manage it.
On-Going Care
After launch, we continue to support the site. Content changes, feature requests and technical fixes are all handled by our team, keeping your client happy long-term.
Project Management
Once the design is handed over, we project manage the full development phase. You stay informed without having to manage developers or chase timelines.
Quality-Controlled Builds
Every build is quality-checked before it goes to you. Clean code, fast load times, mobile responsiveness and pixel-perfect accuracy to your approved design.
Flexible Partnership
No minimums and no retainers. Whether you need us for one project a quarter or a few each month, we fit in around your workload and your clients.
Who we work with
Built for agencies that care about quality.
We work with agencies who want a reliable WordPress partner they can trust with their clients. Whether you need us for one build or an on-going partnership, we fit in around how you work.
Design agencies
You focus on design, we handle the build. Hand off your approved Figma or Adobe XD files and we turn them into fast, maintainable WordPress sites.
Marketing agencies
Need websites built for your clients alongside campaigns? We develop, host and support the site so you can focus on driving results. If you don't have in-house design, we can bring in a trusted design partner to handle that side too.
Advertising agencies
Campaign landing pages, brand sites and digital experiences. We build what your creative team designs, on time and to spec.
Freelancers and consultants
Working with a client who needs a website? We can step in as your development and hosting partner so you can offer a complete service.
How It Works
From signed-off design to go-live.
We take over once the design is approved and content is finalised. From there, we manage the full development through to launch.
Design handover
You provide the finalised Figma or Adobe XD file with all content, assets and responsive layouts. We review everything and confirm scope.
Scoping and quote
We review the design, discuss functionality requirements and provide a clear quote with a realistic timeline. No surprises.
Development
We build the site in WordPress using Elementor, Divi or WPBakery. Every page is developed to match the approved design, optimised for speed and mobile.
Design review
Your designer reviews the developed site and provides feedback. We make adjustments until everything matches the approved design.
Launch
We handle DNS, SSL, final testing and go-live. The site launches on our managed hosting with backups, monitoring and security already in place.
On-going support
After launch, we host and support the site for as long as your client needs. Content changes and feature requests come straight to our team.
Design handover
What we need to get started.
We require a fully completed and approved design before development begins. This means content, layouts and functionality need to be finalised.
This keeps the project on track, avoids scope creep and means we can give you an accurate quote from day one. No additional features, pages or changes will be made post-handover without a revised quote.
Full design file
Figma or Adobe XD with all pages designed. For repeatable templates like blogs or products, one completed example is fine. Include comments describing animations and expected transitions.
Finalised content
All text, images and media added to the design and ready to go. Placeholder content like lorem ipsum or stock images may delay the project timeline.
Branding guidelines
Colour palette in HEX format, typography with font names, sizes and styles for headings and body text.
Responsive layouts
Desktop (1440px), tablet (768px) and mobile (375px). At minimum, provide responsive designs for the homepage. We use our discretion for other pages if layouts are not provided.
Assets and fonts
Logos, icons, images and fonts uploaded to Dropbox or Google Drive with clear file names and organised folders. Include font licences where applicable.
Written sign-off
Written confirmation that the design and assets are final. This ensures alignment and protects both parties from scope creep.

5-star rated on Google, here's why
Control Shift are always amazing to deal with, with expertise second-to-none. Having worked with them for years, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone who’s looking to up their web game. Nothing is ever too difficult, and they’re great at explaining technical topics in ways that are easy-to-grasp.

The Caretakers
I’ve been using Paul and the team at Control Shift for a number of years now – for their exceptional hosting and tech services and also to have the websites I design, developed into working sites. I’ve consistently been impressed on all fronts, as have my clients.

Frequently asked
Partnership questions.
Common questions from agencies considering a partnership.
How does white-label work?
We become your invisible WordPress team. You manage the client relationship, we handle the development. Your client never needs to know we exist unless you want them to. It’s that simple.
Do you require a finished design before development?
Yes. We need the design fully signed off, content finalised and any functionality decisions made before development begins. This keeps projects on time, on budget and free of late-stage scope creep.
Can you work directly with our clients if needed?
Yes, either under your brand or ours. Some agencies prefer us to handle the client conversation directly once the design is signed off. Others keep us in the background entirely. Whatever works best for you.
What happens after the site launches?
The site moves onto one of our managed hosting plans, which means hosting, updates, support and ongoing development are all handled by us. You keep the relationship and the credit, we keep the site running.
Do you have a minimum project size?
Not really. We work on everything from small brochure builds to large multisite networks. If a project is the right fit for both of us, we’re keen.
Why should we trust you with our clients?
Because we treat your clients like our own. We’re reliable, responsive and we communicate clearly. The agencies we work with stick around because we make them look good, not because they’re locked in.
